Why are young Canadians—our most informed, connected, and globally minded generation—voting less than any other age group? takes an honest look at youth disengagement in Canada’s democracy, exploring the barriers, disillusionment, and hope that shape how young people show up in civic life.
As Calgary prepares to elect a new City Council on Oct 20, 2025, this discussion couldn’t be more timely. Local decisions on education, economy, housing, transit, climate action, equity, and so many other pressing topics, directly affect our future, and it’s our generation’s chance to shape them.
Join us for a free screening of a fitting documentary, with free snacks and followed by conversation and reflection on how young Calgarians can lead the movement for change at the ballot box and beyond.
Admission is FREE but registration is required for entry to ensure capacity doesn't exceed. Register today and be part of a generation reimagining what civic leadership looks like in Calgary.
